Chocolate Christmas Tree DIY

Christmas is my favourite time of the year! Not because of the gifts, but for the good mood everyone seems to have, the decoration, the anticipation until Christmas Eve. The first thing I do to get in the Christmas spirit is decorating my room. This year instead of decorating my small Christmas tree, I made a chocolate one. I got the idea from a video of DIYlover and this is my way of recreating it.

To do this you’ll need:
  • 1 cardstock paper  (here in fuxia)
  • little chocolates looking like caramels
  • clue
  • tinsel (here silver)
  • scotch tape
Now with the  cardstock paper try to make a cone.

Keep it in place with scotch tape.
Then cut of the excess to make the end flat.
I tried to clue the chocolate but it didn’t work to I used scotch tape all over to secure it.

After I did the same with the tinsel. I didn’t do the spirals very symmetrical, so to cover the gaps I cut the tinsel and placed it where it was needed.

It maybe doesn’t look very  professional l but I really liked the way it turned out. For a better result head over to DIYlover’s channel.

This wasn’t my idea, I just liked it and I wanted to recreate for Christmas.
